• Coolant pumps or ‘Suds Pumps’ are essential for pumping coolant through your machine, and through coolant tubes onto cutting blades, bits and high friction tools. It is important to check if your coolant pump is working regularly, over time the build up of swarf, chips and debris in coolant can make it harder for your coolant pump to work. Regular cleaning of your machine and coolant tank (if required) should be carried out to prolong the lifespan of your Coolant pump. The Excel machine Tools Coolant pump is designed to be semi-immersible, designed to be mounted onto your machines coolant tank the flange and motor sit outside the coolant tank, which require wiring to a power source by a competent qualified electrician.
